The Early Years Learning Framework was developed by the Australian and state governments with input from the early childhood sector, early childhood academics and with thorough and comprehensive community and specialist consultation.
The Early Years Learning Framework was established to streamline the principles, practices and outcomes that support and enhance children’s learning from birth to five years of age, as well as their transition to ‘big’ school.
The vision of the Framework is that ‘all children experience learning that is engaging and builds success for life’, and we couldn’t have said it better ourselves!
The Early Years Learning Framework has been designed as a set of guidelines with milestones, so that early childhood centres can develop their own strategies and programs in order to achieve its objectives.
We adhere to the Framework at Little Sparkles, and this is demonstrated across the centre.
